Hope and despair are constant conflicts. Whoever lets despair control them will never achieve their dream. Staying alive means fighting for your survival and your dreams. I have never given up on my dream of expressing myself through art. My project displays doors taken from the houses where I lived: my childhood home, the home where I spent my teenage years, and my matrimonial home. The door of my abandoned childhood home, which awaits demolition, is still there. It is an antique door made of natural wood. It is covered with 64 cubes my father carved by hand. I copied the engraved shapes on the cubes on clay. The exhibition also has wooden sculptures that express my overcoming social barriers. These cubes symbolize my freedom.
