'Vilomah' is a Sanskrit word that describes a situation where a parent loses their child. The death of a child causes the parents severe trauma and suffering and weakens their hope and will to continue living. I chose the topic after my best friend lost her oldest son in a sudden accident last year when he was seven. The project addresses the traumatic experiences and loss of parents. The works highlight the great void the deceased leaves that the parents see before their eyes in every moment of their lives.
