Nasrin Zaher El Din
I use different media and techniques: photography, video, sound, and installations of varying sizes. My works shed light on domestic, personal, and social topics.
The topic that interests me most is the place of women in Druze society as dictated by religion.
I woke up one morning and looked in the mirror and saw a horse; this observation made me study horses closely and discover how similar they are to humans, especially in their moodiness and madness.
In the realistic and humorous style that characterizes my works, I try to convey hints and ideas about personal life through photography and paintings, using different objects.
