In my exhibition, I describe my deep connection to time and aging, in a style that carries within it childhood memories and early images. This connection is clearly manifested in my relationship with my grandfather, who suffers from severe pain due to his illness. Through the strong symbolism of the watermelon, a symbol of summer and life, I illustrate the overwhelming and painful passage of time, but also the triumph of love and joy, which were an integral part of my childhood.
The artworks in the exhibition express my challenges and struggles with the fluctuations of time, my disregard for the phenomenon of aging and death, and my continuous effort to preserve my beautiful memories despite the suffering. Through these works, I remind myself and all those who view the exhibition of the simple love, devotion, and giving that represent an inseparable bond between the past and the present.
The exhibition is an emotional journey. I invite you to join me in my personal memories, to reflect on the relationship between life and death, and the importance of preserving the cherished memories that shape us.
