"I search for my existence, helpless, between two worlds. Far from the earth, a stranger among a people, a stranger between two peoples. I was born in the city of Nazareth to a Christian family, distant from its traditions, carrying its wounds." My project addresses the issue of hybrid identity for a young woman at the beginning of her life, experiencing challenges that open her perception to topics she has never been accustomed to addressing, which raises a sense of alienation within her. Through the medium of video, I attempt to explore these thoughts and issues from a personal perspective, interwoven with societal, political, and religious projections. Photography: Rawan Julani
