My work deals with three generations of women and the differences between them: grandmother, mother, and i line in Jerusalem, and the house of my grandmother in the Beit ‘Anan village in Ramallah. Through the gesture of the body and the organization of objects in space, I examine my immediate environment, my imagination and the divergences within it, and my connection or distancing from both traditional and modern Arab culture. most of the photographs document the living rooms of the two houses, the most significant room for my grandmother and mother. I examine my belonging to culture and tradition through my family.
