I had loved listening to stories since I was a child when my grandmother used to tell us stories on rainy nights while sitting around the fireplace. She used to tell us the same story but in a different way every time. It always amazes me how you can hear the same story over and over again and feel like it's the first time. I believe that the purpose of art is to tell a story, any story, that touches every person differently. My art tells stories from my life; stories of reflection, research, control, and presence. I use different media, such as photography, sculpture, print, drawing, and more, depending on the story. The objects I create have physical bodies but also allude to mentality states, in addition to other objects that undergo different changes.
