Bayan's work is inspired by her dreams. Her paintings express the beauty, ugliness, and fear she sees in her dreams, protecting her from reality that creeps into her dreams. Some images, such as black goats, are derived from religious worlds in which black animals symbolize demonic beings, and the artist uses the painting to purify the animal from the evil image attributed to it.
